How to your firefighters learn to fight fires? Playing with doll houses... Kinda.
Books, classes, experience, watching and learning, and hands on practical experience. This "doll house" presents our future captains and upcoming firefighters a small scale look and how fire behaves and how dwellings respond to environmental factors and how to apply our tactics to help save your family.
Our family, serving your family.

What makes a good team? Who are the players at the table to make the mission a success?
In our team, we must all function at 💯 or better everyday.
In this picture it's all smiling faces but the reality is this team is part of a machine that must work perfectly together all the time.
We have posted many retirements this year and we must fill those holes. The last month 7 L521 Members have been training to fill the captains role.
This group of instructors pictured are helping do that. This was taken just after they burned a training burn in a fully furnished room at our facility to help the new captains better understand fire behavior and investigations. Just one small bit of what instruction for them looks like.
